Brooklyn Botanic Garden is presently closed in order to support our city’s efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19. We are taking this step out of care for BBG staff and community members. We hope to reopen July 1, and if we are allowed and able to safely open sooner, we will.
The Garden Online
We are excited to bring the Garden to our visitors virtually this spring. Through these unprecedented times, Brooklyn Botanic Garden remains committed to connecting communities to the wonder and delight of plants and people.
Over the coming weeks, the Garden's world-famous collection will blossom in isolation. Follow the blooms from home on CherryWatch.
Follow @brooklynbotanic on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and visit this website’s homepage, where we are sharing daily bloom photos, virtual tours of the spring collections, and ideas for families and home gardeners on ways to celebrate the spirit of spring at home.
We can’t wait to welcome you back into the full embrace of the Garden after this emergency has abated.
Classes, workshops, tours and events are cancelled through June.
- Advance tickets and class registrations will be refunded.
- BBG memberships will be automatically extended by two months.
- We will announce any updates to Children's Garden summer programs by the end of May.
