Bluebell Wood Idyll (Video)

may 14, 2022: Bluebell Wood is in glorious bloom! Plan a visit.

Immerse yourself in waves of sweet-smelling blue blossoms as you explore the Garden’s beloved Bluebell Wood in this mesmerizing video by cinematographer Nic Petry of Dancing Camera. Enjoy it at full screen!

This enchanting woodland display flourishes in early May, when tens of thousands of Spanish bluebells (Hyacinthoides hispanica ‘Excelsior’) burst into flower under a mature stand of oak, birch, and beech trees just south of Cherry Esplanade.

Thank you many times for this beauty. I won’t be seeing them this year, but my hope is to see them again, as I have in the past, when I walked the paths among them in perfect peace and awe.

The bluebells are beautiful, very bright appearance. That bee siting in the flowers, I guess like I said they are so beautiful can’t help but to call a bee.
