I just discovered a beehive in a tree in my backyard. How do I get rid of it?

I am a member of BBG and also a hobby backyard beekeeper. As I was reading this lovely article, I noticed it is a bit outdated. Beekeeping is now legal, but since beekeeping isn’t widely accepted by everyone, many beekeepers are still shy about disclosing their locations. I would love to see BBG continue encouraging more people to beekeep. I strongly believe that by having more urban beekeepers, we can have more pollinators pollinate our gardens and increase the bees’ survival rate.
